In Lazcano’s two-decade career in the technology and communications industry, he has helped companies and their customers navigate major inflection points in the wireless world, including the emergence of mobile payments, advances in network data protection and data security, and the adoption of SIM cards for wireless access credential when TDMA/CDMA networks transition to GSM standards.

Known for his customer-centric approach and keen ability to solve complex problems, Lazcano has served as a trusted advisor to some of the most prolific global brands, including Verizon, T-Mobile, SWIFT and Freddie Mac.
He most recently served in strategic account management positions for Paris-based Thales (TAL’-es) Group, one of the top eSIM manufacturers globally; Amsterdam-based Gemalto, an international digital security company acquired by Thales; and Germany-based UTIMACO, maker of cybersecurity and compliance solutions. Lazcano earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic systems engineering and a master’s degree in management of information sciences (MIS) from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
